Careers (pupils)

Post 16 moving on

Throughout Y11 regular meetings are held to discuss post-16 options and provide careers advice, guidance and support. An annual Careers Fair is held at the Drapers Centre and there are a number of opportunities to visit colleges for pupils and their parents. Support is given for pupils to complete applications, as well as working on CV’s, letter writing and developing interview technique.

Following the completion of final exams, a series of Transition Days provides Y11 pupils with the final preparation needed for moving on and succeeding at college, sixth form or in work. STARS monitors the post-16 outcomes of all pupils.
